Dear {Name},

I’d like to attend the upcoming Automotive Linux Summit Conference taking place June 20 – 22 in Tokyo, Japan. I’ve researched many conferences – and this is THE conference to attend for automotive systems engineers, Linux experts, R&D managers, business executives, open-source licensing/compliance specialists and community developers that want to expand their skills, solve technical issues with the best and brightest in the community and learn/collaborate within the open source ecosystems.

Over 1,000 of the most talented individuals in the industry gather together for this event  – it’s like a pop-up think tank!

Here’s how I envision my attendance at Automotive Linux Summit 2018 strengthening our company:

  • Automotive Linux Summit offers 35+ sessions and 10+ keynotes across three conference days that cover a wide range of technologies, use cases, and implementations. These sessions include presentations, technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices.
  • The infamous “hallway track” at Automotive Linux Summit will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.

You can learn more about the conference here.

If I register before June 2, the fee is only USD$450. Included in the registration fee is access to all Automotive Linux Summit + Open Source Summit Japan keynotes and sessions, some co-located events, access to the sponsor technology showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the onsite attendee reception.

I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned and to recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.

Thank you,
