Hyperledger’s annual conference gathers industry leaders from a myriad of industries and verticals to further the awareness, education, adoption and advancement of enterprise blockchain technologies. Attendees will have the chance to talk directly with Hyperledger project maintainers and the Technical Steering Committee, collaborate with other organizations on ideas that will directly impact the future of Hyperledger, and promote their work among the enterprise blockchain community. Hyperledger Global Forum is the event to learn everything you can about blockchain, how it’s being used and how it will impact our day to day lives as well as meet potential partners and build relationships in highly interactive workshops.

Sheila Warren

Sheila Warren graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law. She began her career as a Wall Street attorney before turning to philanthropy and non-profit tech over a decade ago. Sheila has represented banks, philanthropists and progress non-profits. She also designed and launched NGOsource, a service focused on international grant making. Currently Sheila is Vice-President, Strategic Alliances and General Counsel, TechSoup, the global social enterprise that has connected civil society organizations around the world with over $9 billion in donated tech-based resources.Don Tapscott
Co-author, Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies is Changing the World, and Co-founder, Blockchain Research Institute
Don Tapscott is one of the world’s leading authorities on the impact of technology on business and society. He has authored 16 books, including Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything, which has been translated into over 25 languages. Don’s most recent and ambitious book was co-authored with his son, Alex Tapscott, a globally-recognized investor, advisor and speaker on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies is Changing the World was published in May 2016 and is, according to Harvard Business School’s Clay Christensen, “the book, literally, on how to survive and thrive in this next wave of technology-driven disruption.” The paperback version of the book, updated with new material covering recent developments in the blockchain industry, was published in June 2018. In 2017, Don and Alex co-founded the Blockchain Research Institute, whose 80+ projects are the definitive investigation into blockchain strategy, use-cases, implementation challenges and organizational transformations. Don is a member of the Order of Canada and is ranked the 2nd most influential Management Thinker and the top Digital Thinker in the world by Thinkers50. He is an Adjunct Professor at INSEAD and former two-term Chancellor of Trent University in Ontario. Shuli Goodman is the founder and Executive Director of LF Energy, a Linux Foundation project that supports open source innovation in the energy and electricity sectors. LF Energy’s ambition is to accelerate the energy transition and the decarbonization of the world’s economies. Having spent the early part of her career enabling some of the world's largest companies in the world to become Internet ready, she has brought her digital-first, cross-industry background to the electricity sector. With a doctorate in Organizational Systems focused on innovation and the energy transition, Shuli has a uniquely multi-disciplinary approach to solving complex, interdependent problems. She has nearly three decades experience in the startup and ongoing support of governance and multi-stakeholder engagement bodies that have been convened to enable decision-making and provide steering capacity for high-visibility and/or high-risk initiatives. John Jordan is the Executive Director of the BC Digital Trust Service. He is an experienced product executive and technology strategist who has over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Currently he is leading the Province of British Columbia’s participation in the establishment of a trust layer for the Internet. This includes leading the teams who have been making significant contributions to Hyperledger Aries and Hyperledger Indy since the Fall of 2017. The Province operates OrgBook BC, a key part of the Verifiable Organizations Network (https://vonx.io) which is the world’s first public sector production service using Hyperledger Indy and Aries.Michael del Castillo

As an associate editor at Forbes. Michael reports on how blockchain and cryptocurrencies are being adopted by enterprises and the broader business community. His coverage includes the use of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP, and extends to non-cryptocurrency applications of blockchain in finance, supply chain management, digital identity and a number of other use cases. Previously, he was a staff reporter at blockchain news site, CoinDesk, where he covered the increasing willingness of enterprises to explore how blockchain could make their work more efficient and in some cases, unnecessary. His work has been published in "Blockchain in Financial Markets and Beyond" by Risk Books and he is regularly cited in industry research reports. Since 2009 he has run Literary Manhattan, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to showing Manhattan’s rich literary heritage.Hyperledger is an open source community focused on developing a suite of stable frameworks, tools and libraries for enterprise-grade blockchain deployments. It is a global collaboration, hosted by The Linux Foundation, and includes leaders in finance, banking, Internet of Things, supply chains, manufacturing and Technology. Similar to The Linux Foundation, Hyperledger has a modular approach to hosting projects. The Hyperledger greenhouse hosts developing business blockchain projects from Hyperledger Labs (seed) to stable code ready for production (fruition).
