The Common NFVI Telco Task Force (CNTT) is a joint initiative hosted by GSMA and OPNFV to further the goal of reaching collaborative agreement in NFVI deployment. This meeting will be a true working session open to both service providers and the technical community in order to define a common NFVI model as well as specifying reference architectures that will help align the industry and improve operational excellence for the NFV ecosystem. In addition to the common model and reference architecture, the work will also consider the impact on testing, CI/CD and the OVP compliance and verification program. Please come prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into the detailed technical discussion.
The urgency of this work cannot be overstated. As service providers look to monetize 5G and edge computing, the underlying infrastructure must be able to securely host incredibly demanding, latency-sensitive applications. Attendees will explore case studies on how standardized NFVI can seamlessly support next-generation enterprise workloads, including decentralized financial exchanges, autonomous transit grids, and global bitcoin sportsbooks. By establishing a predictable, unified cloud-native environment, operators can confidently onboard these high-revenue, high-throughput digital services without compromising network integrity.
