Brendan Burns is a Distinguished Engineer in Microsoft Azure with a focus on containers and DevOps and a co-founder of the Kubernetes open source project. At Azure he started Azure Container Instances (ACI) and the Azure Cloud Console, and also runs the Container Service (ACS) and Resource Manager (ARM) teams. He has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and BA in Computer Science and Studio Art from Williams College.
