We’d like to invite all attendees that identify as women or non-binary to join each other for a networking lunch at Open Source Summit North America. This is a chance to connect and network with each other onsite. We will begin with a brief introduction and then guests will be free to enjoy lunch and mingle with one another. All attendees must identify as a woman or non-binary and will need to register for Open Source Summit North America to attend.

Kick off the start of OSS with an exciting Zumba activity! Zumba combines a high-energy cardiovascular workout with Latin music into a fun, calorie burning experience. It incorporates many dance styles including merengue, salsa, chacha, mambo, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dancing, flamenco and more. The best part about Zumba is that no experience is necessary to join in the fun, and anyone can do it! Attendees of all ages, fitness levels, and dancing abilities can have a blast while getting a good workout at their own level. Please be sure to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and flat shoes.

Don’t forget to pack your running gear because the Open Source Summit North America Fun Run is on! Runners will be able to see some local San Diego sights like the Gaslamp Quarter, the Embarcadero, Petco Park, and more! Participants will be required to provide their own running attire and water.

Puppy Pawlooza is back by popular demand! We are excited to bring Puppy Pawlooza to Open Source Summit North America 2019 and have partnered with the San Diego Humane Society to bring some of these amazing rescue dogs to interact with attendees Friday morning.
The San Diego Humane Society offers a wide range of programs and services that strengthen the human-animal bond, prevent cruelty/neglect, provide medical care, educate the community on the humane treatment of animals, and provide services for families needing assistance keeping their pets.
