About Bengaluru
It’s Electric! Way back in 1905, Bengaluru, India’s third most populous city, was the first city to be electrified in the country. Now known as India’s Silicon Valley, Bengalaru has the highest percentage of engineers in the world, with more than a million IT professionals calling it home. With the bevy of start-ups, and the most number of scientists in India to be nominated for a Nobel Prize, it’s no wonder Forbes Magazine has deemed Bengaluru amongst, “The Next Decade’s Fastest-Growing Cities”.
Bengaluru isn’t all hustle and bustle, though. It is home to an incredible amount of nature. Nearly 40% of it’s landscape is gardens/parks and it is home to over 25 lakes, offering a peaceful escape from the grind for hiking, biking, kayaking and relaxing. If you’d like to take in a panoramic view of the city, visit Bugle Rock, a natural rock formation that sprung up over 3,000 million years ago (give or take a few).
Are you a ham radio enthusiast? Do you love dogs? Do you know how to drive a two wheeler? Love Rava Idli? Then you will enjoy visiting Bengaluru. We hope to see you there!
